The Royal Australian Mint has launched a new limited edition commemorative coin series with the first coin featuring the mutiny of Her Majesty Bounty, also called Her Majesty Armed Vessel Bounty. The new series of commemorative coins will mark key moments in Australian history, according to the Royal Australian Mint General Manager.

The Royal Australian Mint released a new $5 1oz silver coin to mark the passage of 100 years since the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, which brought an end to the First World War. Australia got involved in the war to defend the empire of Great Britain.

In commemoration of the centenary anniversary of the repatriation of Australian soldiers and nurses after the First World War, the Royal Australian Mint has released a new $2 circulating coin.
