The fourth release in the Wombat series portrays a representation of a wombat and its baby. Other design elements include vegetation, gum trees, birds and clouds. As well as the inscription ‘WOMBAT’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P125’ commemorative mintmark for their 125th anniversary, the reverse includes the coin’s weight, purity, 2024 year-date, and a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter only detectable with a magnifying glass.
