The fifth and last issue in the Australia Zoo Series from the Royal Australian Mint was struck from one ounce of silver and is dedicated to the Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis). The motif features a detailed depiction of a giraffe with its young calf in the African savannah. A tree, the sun and mountains can be seen in the background. Between the two giraffes are the inscriptions "AUSTRALIA ZOO"–the series, "GIRAFFE"–the name of the edition and "1oz .999 Ag"–weight, purity and material, respectively.
