The Royal Mint has launched brand new 1oz Silver Bullion coins. Each coin comprises 1oz of 999.0 pure silver and is packaged in a plastic capsule. Larger orders arrive in foil packs of 20 and are put into boxes in multiples of 100.
The Royal Arms 2023 Silver coin has a face value of £2, making it legal currency, but more importantly for investors, any profit realized on the coin will be exempt from Capital Gains Tax. After a successful launch in 2018, the coin is now in its sixth year of production and is also available in a 1oz gold form.
