The 2022 Australian Kookaburra design is a reminder of the chortling creature’s flourishing presence in suburban neighbourhoods. The design portrays the regular visitor perched on an ornamental bird bath among agapanthus, flowering plants regularly seen in Australian gardens. As well as the inscription ‘KOOKABURRA’, the reverse also includes the coin’s weight, purity and year-date. No more than 15,000 coins will be released.
Each coin comes sealed in an original mint-sealed capsule.
