Details
The egg was made in 1899 in the famous workshop of Carl Fabergé. It was created by Michael Perkin – one of the most distinguished jewelers of his time. Alexander Kelch, a 19th-century tycoon, ordered the egg as an Easter gift for his wife. The masterpiece was made of gold, diamonds, and meticulously applied enamel decorations. Thanks to the Mint of Poland, you can have a miniature of the masterpiece of your own. Currently, the original belongs to the royal Collection of Elizabeth II.
