This 2 oz pure Silver coin is the first coin in the Grand Shipwrecks in History Collection and has a mintage of only 500 pieces worldwide. During her maiden voyage the ship was hijacked by Samuel Bellamy or "Black Sam". In 1717, the ship fully drowned in a storm near Cape Cod. Whyday Gally was found in 1984 and among the findings, a well-preserved bell which helped identify the ship.
