These 2018 Maple Leaf Coins feature the famous Edison Light bulb privy.
Since the early 1800s, when the first arc lamps were demonstrated to the public, Canadian inventors, Henry Woodward and Mathew Evans looked for a filament material that would not melt or burn but would produce light inside of a glass tube to be used as a light source. Eventually, it was Thomas Edison, who first patented the famous light bulb that people everywhere rely upon today.
On the coin there is a single maple leaf, on the left privy mark of Edison Light Bulb.
